After secondary school a year after graduation I decided to make my own website which I felt was going to be huge and after doing my research I discovered "Webflow".
I stayed at my aunt's house for a while and used my cousin's Wifi for some months and really got a hang of it. When I got home It got harder to continue to work due to lack of mobile data because been on a laptop for long hours and connected to the internet would be financially straining on me since I wasn't working and I was been advised to read for JAMB and Post-Ume.

I couldn't ask my parents for money to buy data because the next thing I would hear was "have you finished reading" and I never liked those words.
As usual I abandoned the project and got on the next thing I felt was going to be lucrative because I discovered that money helps you get the resources you need for your journey to success.

Special thanks to "Laptop4Developers" and any organization or individual that is helping people get the resources they need and providing the learning resources.
I jumped on the graphics design train and downloaded the most famous design software "Photoshop".

(To be continued)

In boarding school, when your friends talk about the games they would play, movies they would watch and things they would do during the holidays, you would want to partake in that activity and not be left out. I bought game CDs and installed them on my computer, I hoarded movies and songs for reasons I do not remember why and I filled the memory of my computer in two holidays. My computer crashed due to low space and it hurt badly but I had to learn my lessons on how to care for my computer.

In Ss1 I met a few friends who were technology inclined and kept up with the technology world and I felt really happy to be with them. We shared tips, websites and any other thing that we would love, we were always updating each other on latest softwares and hardware's.

On my last day of secondary school, one of my friends gave me an Adobe After-effects installation Cd and told me what it was used for. During that time the famous TV series was "The Flash" and I was a big fan of it, he told me it was used in making movie effects used many TV series we watched and loved. When I got the CD, I was very happy and couldn't wait to get home and start working but it wasn't all roses.

Luckily he gave me YouTube channels to get tutorials from and I got downloading immediately. I met a few a lapses along the way like a very slow computer and some missing software plugins for the Adobe software, the vibe died down.

The first was when we were shown the parts of a computer and their uses in school.

I still remember my teacher raising up a keyboard and telling us what the keys were for, but we never actually had any hands on experience. My second point of access to a computer was at home and it was under my parents bed. My dad had an old laptop which had a Trackpoint and was quite thick in size compared to computers of nowadays. He brought out his laptop one day and was just going through it and decided to type a few words, he tried to delete some letters but wasn't sure of what key to press. He tried different keys but still no success, he decided to call me and I just instinctively pressed the "backspace" key and his letters were deleted. He smiled and said "this boy you will know computer very well o", that was the turning point in my life.

At that moment I grew closer to computers and always wanted to know why things work. I explored the software aspect and every nook and cranny of a computer even though if I pressed or deleted the wrong thing I could crash the system or get the blue screen of death. I changed different settings in the computer and saw how most of it worked and connected.

When I was secondary school I lost contact with any computer and fell out of touch with it, I only had access to a computer during "data-processing" classes which I hated and during free nights in school (on Saturdays). I had to share the computer with my partner or who ever I entered the computer lab with for a few minutes as many other students wanted to use the computer, my actions were restricted to only browsing and nothing else. On one long holiday my dad asked me to choose between a phone and laptop and you know what I picked obviously, I was very happy with my choice but my habits towards my computer were bad.
